![]() If you search the Lenovo forums they are full of issues. It's impacting almost everyone using the Vantage software. If you, or anyone else that reads this find a solution or gets any additional info about this situation, please share it. Some people are reporting much more wide scale issues with this bug where they are not even able to game on their system, so yeah, very troubling. ![]() Someone suggested that the entire Vantage app needs to be rebuilt in order for this to be resolved, but I am way to ignorant to be able to speak intelligently towards that, and I am hoping they are wrong.Īnyway, I had not seen it posted on Reddit so I wanted to see if anyone here was having issues. ![]() There has been nothing like that, which makes me fear that they have no idea what to do. It would mean the world to me if someone would just step up and say, we know there is an issue, we are investigating and will be working on a resolve to this as soon as possible. And if you read the posts from the Lenovo forums, a user points out that this is an issue on Lenovo's end and that Microsoft is intentionally blocking their drivers. I have not heard anything back from them in 2 days. Like a specialist had asked for screen shots and some info about the situation, which was quickly provided, and then they went dark to the best of my knowledge. What bothers me a lot though is that Lenovo has been totally silent in the forums. Please continue to post if you are still getting the error. Took about 2 weeks but better late than never. All users should be able to use the Vantage app without getting a system driver compatibility problem message. ***UPDATE: 11-08-22 Final update, the problem has been solved by Lenovo. If anyone has found an official statement from Lenovo where they publicly acknowledge this issue (which would have been nice from the beginning) please post a link correcting me. After installing one or both, consider restarting your system and launching Vantage to see if the error message is still present. But for now the suggestion is to regularly check both the Vantage software for system updates in conjunction with Windows updates. I have still yet to see Lenovo put out an official announcement on their forums acknowledging this issue, so I am not sure what to think. Previously support had said the fix was going to be released this coming Tuesday, which would be November the 8th. ![]() We would appreciate updates from members to our post for confirmation and feedback. So checking those Lenovo Vantage updates being available soon is something to look forward. Thanks for your confidence with our Community to get matters into attention.Īs there is no exact ETA, this is something expected mid to end of November. Support Specialist." Their grammar is a bit off but I am quoting here: So if you can put up with the message for the next 3-4 weeks, hopefully we will get an update fixing this. So at least they are aware and working on a fix. If everything goes well, the fix will be out within this month. Our team is aware of this and already working on it. Re:Memory Intergrity settings in Windows Security preventing LenovoDiagnosticsDriver.sys from loading ***UPDATE: from the Lenovo support forums a specialist finally replied to this topic So far, Lenovo has been pretty quiet, although this is a pretty recent issue, so support is probably getting mobbed, yet I was hoping they would acknowledge the issue and say they were investigating it. I was curious if anyone else has experienced any recent problems and if so, has anyone found a solution? So far I have not seen this mentioned on Reddit, but it seems to be widespread among Legion and other Lenovo computers that use the Vantage software and mentioned drivers. The only fix for many has been the suggestion to turn off one of the core features to Windows security which does not really sound like much of a fix to me, since it seems that windows is intentionally blocking this driver from loading. Apparently after several posts, one of the users identified it as a Lenovo issue and not necessarily the fault of Windows, even though for me, as well as many others, this all seemed to start about 24-72 hours ago after windows 11 released one of it's latest updates. ![]()
