![]() ![]() Unfortuntely it seems to be limited to timed tasks (not all-day tasks). If you use the Google Calendar sync, you can edit tasks in your calendar. "take out the trash every thursday at 9pm #house" I don't think you can enter projects in a task with TickTick. Task syntax makes more sense to me in Todoist. So I'm in the same boat, but have always learned more towards Todoist for the following reasons: Posting here as quick feedback and also in case I am not setting up something properly. Todoist's notifications show up poorly - without any options for "Complete/Snooze 5/15 minutes". Compare this to Ticktick that shows both on quick notification panel and as a "drawn over" app (basically, you are not ignoring it). Mobile/Android: It is so easy to absolutely ignore the notifications as they remain on the quick notifications panel.Notifications (Desktop/Web/Mobile): I'm very, very dismayed by this. Mobile Widget: Subtasks show clearly and nicely on Ticktick - not on Todoist. An "All tasks" option provides a nice and comprehensive list of what's on your plate in one go. I realized this is actually a lot more important than I thought otherwise because it's easy to skip when tasks are nested under several projects. ![]() You can look at "Upcoming" but the way Ticktick shows to me comes off as superior. I don't have an overview of all tasks across the projects - something that TickTick offers. Fwiw, I thought I'd be relying on Calendar sync on Ticktick but I didn't. Templates: not a game-changer but is a quick enabler of organization should I need it. I'd love if there was a way to use a Todoist-like theme for ticktick. For some reason, there seems to be a bit of a lag/delay on Ticktick desktop app when inputting tasks. I find myself opting to input tasks on Todoist over Ticktick. Ultimately decided to opt for both and see which one I like the best. Prior to this, I had a dimentary GTD system in place. Background: I had long been conflicted between choosing Todoist vs Ticktick. ![]()
